The region is a technology leader in lignite mining and also in ancillary services, such as in mechanical engineering and automated logistics chains from and to the power plants. What concrete resources (technology, companies, experts) and capabilities can we "turn around" for answers to the climate challenge? Which existing solution can we learn from and transfer in the direction of climate-positive (CO2-reducing) to Senftenberg?
