The Climathon is a 24-hour hackathon dedicated to creating climate action in the form of tangible projects, supporting climate positive projects, startups and businesses in Tallinn, and addressing local policy changes.

Tallinn joins over 130 cities worldwide in this 24-hour hackathon, where teams compete in developing innovative solutions to their cities' major climate and sustainability challenges. Register now as a group or individual and find a solution to this year's challenge with like-minded entrepreneurs, students, researchers, sector professionals and innovators and get coached by local leaders from academia, business and government. 

Free to join, we will coach, feed and entertain you for the 24h. Spread the word and take part in Tallinn's sustainable and resilient future!

The best solutions will get the chance to be further developed with the support of Cleantech ForEst and this year's Tallinn Climathon Partners. Worldwide, teams with the most inspiring ideas will have the chance to present themselves at the CHANGE NOW Summit in Paris 2020.

This year’s Climathon Hackathon is all about CIRCULAR ECONOMY, which is aimed at rethinking our current solutions and systems to eliminate waste and focus on the continual use of resources. We are looking for innovation, solutions and initiatives! Challenges/topics are explained more in the FB event

Circular Economy - how to move towards zero carbon future?

This year’s Climathon Hackathon is all about CIRCULAR ECONOMY, which is aimed at rethinking our current solutions and systems to eliminate waste and focus on the continual use of resources - we need to move away from the current “take, make, waste” model to a circular one of “make, use, return”.
