Challenge vision
Solutions shall focus on innovative ways to manage touristic flows in order to have a more uniform number of visitors between the high and the low season. Moreover it’s of the utmost importance to manage touristic activities that take place in the city and the surrounding mountains in a sustainable fashion.

Courmayeur is the typical italian Alpine town located at the meeting point of Italy, France and Switzerland, making it the perfect synthesis of those cultures. The mountain ecosystem is now being threatened by climate changes. Therefore the challenges revolve around the subject of alpine tourism.
