Challenge description

During our programme in Słupca, the citizens identified a lot of problems casued by climate changes and decided they want to defend themselves. They do not want the air in Słupca to be polluted by coal or waste burning, they would like to swim in lake (which is impossible now), they are tired of smog, especially during autumn and winter, etc. Also, they would like to wake the potential of young citizens and local activists who seem to be kind of dormant right now.

Challenge vision

During our interviews with the citizens, they were stressing the importance of mobile solutions and engaging the youth. These lead us to the conclusion that solutions should focus on mobile apps and networks which would be able to generate positive social energy and become a catalyst for change in social environment. It is also important for the solution to be easly implemented and widely used by the citizens of Słupca - so they can actually feel and see the solution in their everyday lives.
