The way we travel has great impacts on society so we have to find the right mobility solutions in order to decarbonize our territory. We challenge the participants to come up with innovative solutions that allow thinking about mobility options that are quick, safe, healthy, cheaper and non-polluting

Challenge vision

CLIMATHON is an initiative that is aligned with the development of the "Torres Vedras Municipal Strategy for Adaptation to Climate Change" and with a growing concern to involve citizens in the design of solutions and initiatives to be developed in the territory.
In this challenge we intend to approach and discuss the following sub-themes:

Improve intermodality and commuting;
Encourage the use of Soft Modes (Bicycle, "on foot"), Bike paths and improve Accessibilities;
Promote the use of Urban Public Transports in Low Density Territories;
Foster Electric Mobility;
Enhance Citizenship and Mobility.
