Climate change is as present as never before - new surprises appear in the daily news reports. Extreme situations calling to actions and according to the current status of need each direction of commitment is necessary. Students protest, some companies start to change their pattern and mindset slowly and there seem to be much more potential in individual understanding, involvement and unseen fields of opportunity that involves single citizens of Leipzig.
How might we involve people of Leipzig in the energy transition in creating understanding and encouraging participation to advance regional formats of involvement, community and own initiative of citizens?
Challenge vision
How do you want to live in 20 years? What are your personal fields of opportunity to get involved and participate proactively to deal with the climate change in your City? How might we enable other citizens of Leipzig to gain more perspectives to the climate change and empower them to become active?
Which potential do you see in this cities? Leipzig is known for its space and possibilities in using it. What kind of platform or format do you think is neseccary for that change to understanding, community and engagement within the city?

Solve the climate challenge put forward by the City of Leipzig about the future of mobility in the city. More than 5000 people from 113 cities, in 46 countries and 6 continents tackled 196 climate challenges in the 2018 Climathon. This year, Leipzig will join the Climathon for the first time!
