Challenge description

Within the past 25 years, Zurich's citizens have reduced their average greenhouse gas emissions by 30% to 4.4 tons CO2 per person annually. In the mid-term, this is not enough for effective climate change mitigation – we must reduce our personal greenhouse gas emissions to less than 1 ton of CO2. Each person has to take action and do their share in regards to consumption and food, housing and living, vacation and mobility. We know the potentials and leverages; lists of tips and recommendations exist. But how might we walk the talk soon and effectively?

Challenge vision

Solutions should focus on a communication and action campaign. More importantly, they should be unique and energizing!
