The energy sector contributes significantly to climate change, especially in Poland. As much as 40% of domestic greenhouse gas emissions come from the energy sector, and more than 10% of them is produced by one installation - Bełchatów Power Plant. That is why it is extremely important to transform this sector, change sources to renewable and, above all, increase energy efficiency.

The ideal solution for this challenge will answer as many as possible questions below:

  • How can we increase energy efficiency?
  • In which sectors can we have the largest savings?
  • How we could optimize the functioning of the city to minimize the energy consumption?
  • Which innovation technology should we use?
  • What can Warsawers do to contribute to these savings?
