The challenges is aimed at encouraing the residents of Ljubljana to engage in a sustainability assessment as part of their purchasing process and to reconsinder the life span of a product they buy. It is also aimed at encouraging them to use the products in a sustainable way and reduce the amount of such products in the landfills, especially in cases when products could be fixed and reused. Sustinable consumption patters covers the use of mobile phones, computers, home appliances, clothes and other products.
We are looking for ideas that would imporve the sustainablitly of the use of the products either systemically or provide a sollution for only a smaller part of the question. Additionally we are also interested in suggestions what would increase the sustainability of production of products available for use in the city.
